Collage prints ~ monoprinting

I'm loving using my prints to collage pictures.  Using bits and pieces from my favorite color combinations and putting them together with clear gesso make me so happy!  I was so stoked to use my Distress Crayons from Tim Holtz, too!

I made my own clear gesso using the recipe given by Pink Poodle Crafts onYouTube found in the link below...  As much as I love love love Mod Podge, the dry & cure time of the gesso is perfect for my impatient self. I also played around with other messages for my 5th graders and a name sign for my daughter...
I love finding inexpensive and "found" ways of creating texture!  Shelf liner, bubble wrap and empty sticker sheets were used to create these textures, printed on music sheets and dictionary paper...

Lost, but not forgotten...

This little blog has been neglected and fitfully, is being repurposed!  I have a new love, and want to watch it evolve and share it with others...  It was fun to peruse the pics of old projects and remember them....  On to new adventures with the same creativity and new materials!

I'm in love with monoprinting and can't wait to share my projects and fun...  Now I get to figure out how to add pictures & posts to the blog from my phone...
